How is it that I am reading about football and get sidetracked by Kim Kardashian pics? The Internet just makes it too easy!
Anyway, for all of you football fans, here is a good comercial break!

Last year–actually about 30 days ago–I wrote about changing my golf swing. I went out the day after Christmas to play (BTW I did not get in trouble) golf and I changed my grip entirely.
It has taken awhile but I have benefited a good bit. After having followed some of these golf driving tips and having made a golf grip change, I am now driving the golf ball consistently far and pretty much straight. This is a great sign in the New Year. While my competitors are also Thinking About Golf, I do not think that they have made the progress that I have had. And do you know what the result of all of this will be?
Pride…and a little bit of money and a LOT of beer.
You see…we have bets every weekend and part of the great joy that I have with this game is to head out with friends on the golf course each weekend. There is really no substitute!
Now, with my swing changes and better driving of the golf ball, I think I can earn many more wins in 2010 than I was in the earlier times, especially last year when I was abysmal on the golf course.
Thus, the New Year is looking promising on the golf course!
As you all know, I am learning
how to play golf or I should say trying to learn how to play better golf. I am decent right now but the game is challenging and you have to always work to get better.
Unfortunately, with A Golf Swing Change comes golf that does not get better for awhile. When you are working on your game, you seem to have to take two steps back in order to take one step forward. Those two steps back come in the form of worse golf scores for a while.
So, I go out today (the day after Christmas which my family was not fond of
) to practice my new golf swing and I think I might have accidentally taken 3 steps back.
It was a travesty. But if I want to get better in the New Year, I am willing to sacrifice my golf game now. Though, for my weekend game with the buddies, this could cost me a lot of money in the short term…but it will bring great rewards later!!!
